Albert Chain with Graduated Roller Links, T-Bar and Stamp
The chain features faceted roller links that move as your run your fingers over them and each of these links is individually stamped. The links graduate from 7.5mm to 5.5mm and the facets catch the light wonderfully.
This chain is also fitted with a 40mm T-Bar with the J.M Makers Mark
In the centre of the chain there is also an ornate fob pendant attached which is seal engraved. The engraving is generally done in reverse so that when pressed into wax an impression is created the correct way around. Historically this was used for sealing letters and documents. The stamp measures 21mm by 16mm.
This albert chain is in wonderful condition and weighs and impressive 55.9 grams. It is fitted with swivels each end which are also stamped with the J.M Makers Mark. It measures 16 inches in length.
