Antique 9ct Rose Gold Antique Albert Chain with Detachable Medal

This chain features traditional, uniformed curb links that measure 5mm in width and has a detachable medal. The medal can be removed by an antique bolt ring.
The chain features an R & S Makers Mark which is probably Rotheram & Son from Spon Street in Coventry who made Watch Cases and Albert Chains dating back as far as 1843. The medal was added at a later date and was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1909.
This chain originally measured 15 3/4 inches with the swivel and bolt ring but we have added an additional antique swivel which can be removed to suit but increases the length to 16.5 inches.
It also features a 44mm T-Bar which rolls along the links. The total weight is 42.6 grams and without the medal it weighs 39.7 grams.
