The pendant showcases Chopard’s celebrated Happy Diamonds concept, where the diamond is left free to move within the design rather than being held in a conventional fixed setting. Here, a single round brilliant cut diamond moves freely within the central oval motif, catching the light and creating flashes of sparkle as the pendant moves with the wearer.
The diamond sits within the smaller inner oval, which appears almost suspended inside the larger glazed surround. The polished Yellow Gold creates a bold, sculptural frame, while the transparent sections give the pendant an airy quality despite its substantial gold weight. It is unmistakably Chopard: playful, beautifully engineered and luxurious without being overly formal. This is a particularly substantial Chopard piece, with a combined weight of 17.9 grams which gives it a wonderfully luxurious feel.
The pendant measures approximately 18mm wide x 32mm high, including the bail, and is suspended from its original 41cm 18ct yellow gold Chopard chain. The fine chain is an excellent contrast to the substantial pendant, allowing the Happy Spirit design to remain the focal point when worn. Both the pendant and chain carry Chopard branding and 750 marks for 18ct Gold. The pendant is also individually numbered 79/5176, alongside its unique serial number, which has been intentionally obscured in our photographs.
The necklace has been professionally polished by our partner workshop and presents beautifully. These do not detract from what is a truly striking piece when worn.
