18ct Gold Serpent Snake Bangle
Okay okay so we are totally in love with this bangle!
A fabulous snake crafted in 18ct gold that twists and wraps around the arm to stare at you with blood red ruby eyes. If you like snake jewellery this is a must!
Weighing 24.8 grams this tests 18ct gold and is also stamped 18ct. You can see where it has been filed towards the edge of its tale which, although disappointing does mean that it was rescued from the furnace - thank goodness!
It has fabulous engraving on its head and tale and is otherwise smooth. We have not polished this bangle so it does show wear and if it was absolutely necessary all could be polished with a fabulously smooth finish - but we would not recommend it! We much prefer to leave jewellery in its original form as much as possible and polishing erodes a little metal each time. Plus, unless you admire this in its box forevermore it will only get scratched again...
This will fit a wrist with a 6.2cm diameter but be warned, you have to wrestle with a few twists and turns to get it on!
