A rare find. We suspect that this Platinum and 18ct Rose Gold chain originated in Austria in the 1930s and was worn as a watch fob chain across the pocket.
Measuring 16 inches and weighing almost 30 grams it is a substantial piece - in hand it is impossible not to notice its density and thus its weight.
The base chain is an elongated oval belcher and each link is surrounded by alternate rose gold and platinum casing. Perhaps most spectacular of all are the original platinum swivel and bolt ring - still in fabulous condition with intact and strong springs. This chain has been tested with an XRF analyser but there are no markings.
Suitable for both men and women this is a lovely, unique item. You'll certainly be spared the embarrassment of anyone owning anything comparable!
