Circa 1870s this beautiful Mourning Locket has ornate engraving and chasing, with Turquoise and Seed Pearls that form the central Forget-Me-Not design.
It is beautifully preserved with a hair locked pendant reverse (empty). The outer edge of the pendant and bail is made from pinchbeck.
The central disc is most likely 9ct Gold but cannot be tested without causing damage to the item. Weighs 7.9 grams.
