Date 1904! 15ct Gold Sapphire & Diamond Bracelet (Higher Resolution Photos)
An absolutely divine Sapphire and Diamond Bracelet crafted from 15ct Yellow Gold.
The Bracelet features open oval links with two Sapphires and a Diamond collet set. The Old Mine Sapphires are a gorgeous deep blue and weigh 0.50cts. These Sapphire would have been cut by hand and have a softer, more vintage appearance. This type of cut is typically associated with jewellery from the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian eras.
The Old European Cut Diamond would have also been cut by hand, it sparkles wonderfully and weighs 0.25cts.
This Bracelet was hallmarked during 1904 -1095 by W & C for Williams & Co. They were registered in 1881 and manufactured from Hylton Street, in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
The open oval links connect to Traditional Curb links that measure 6mm in width. It is secured by a plain heart padlock and safety chain. The padlock opens, hooks through the end links and clicks together, with the safety chain running though the link and fastening to the hinge of the padlock. The Bracelet weighs 16.9 grams in total.
