Centred around an impressive ruby estimated at 4.25cts, it is surrounded by over 1.25cts of diamonds that create beautifully proportioned cluster with plenty of sparkle and impact.
The centrepiece is a substantial round faceted ruby measuring approximately 9.5mm that displays a rich, deep red colour with subtle purplish undertones. Its natural-looking inclusions give the stone plenty of individual character, while its impressive size immediately draws the eye. The ruby is securely set within a fine platinum border that allows its strong colour to take centre stage.
The ruby is surrounded by a generous, scalloped halo of round brilliant cut diamonds, estimated at approximately 0.10ct each. The diamonds are wonderfully lively and create a brilliant contrast against the richness of the central ruby. Two baguette-cut diamonds are positioned horizontally at the shoulders, adding a more structured detail to the otherwise softly rounded cluster.
The craftsmanship is equally impressive when viewed from the side. Beneath the stones is an intricate pierced platinum gallery incorporating a series of beautiful heart-shaped motifs, giving the ring an unexpected decorative detail that is largely hidden when worn. The setting then flows into elegantly pierced shoulders and a polished platinum band.
