1940s Ruby & Diamond Buckle Ring (Higher Resolution Photos)

A really striking and rare design. This buckle ring is crafted from 18ct gold with central graduated square cut rubies of exceptional colour and clarity surrounded by round brilliant cut diamonds. More akin to the buckle on a shoe than a belt there is something rather old school aristocrat about this ring. Most suited to the pinky or ring finger. The ring weighs 7.7 grams and is currently size H 1/2. It can be sized a small amount.
