Gold, Garnet & Seed Pearl Necklace Clasp (Higher Resolution Photos)
Necklace clasps are rare these days and this is a wonderful find. The symmetry is striking.
Each of the nine Garnets measure 7mm by 5mm and are accented by wonderfully articulated Seed Pearls.
The clasp on the reverse, although functioning perfectly is not fully intact. Over the years it is likely that a safety clasp has been removed potentially due to the owner at the time considering repurposing the piece. And then, understandably changing their minds.

The piece itself measures 30mm by 25mm and weighs 13 grams. It is not hallmarked.
