Art Deco Diamond Brooch (Higher Resolution Photos)
A beautiful brooch originally retailed by Miles Jewellers of Queen Street in Holborn, around 1920. In the original box this bar brooch has exceptional design typical of the Art Deco Era.
It is set with a series of round brilliant cut diamonds and a central rectangular cut green spinel. This spinel is complemented with two further baguette cuts towards each end bringing the piece together with wonderful symmetry.
The stones are all set in 18ct white gold on an 18ct yellow gold back and pin. The brooch measures 5.7cm with a width of 6mm. We estimate in excess of 1.50ct of diamonds. A beautiful piece.
