Barthelay 18ct Gold, Amethyst & Diamond Cocktail Watch (Higher Resolution Photos)
From the House of Alexis Barthelay. At first glance this is a unique and entirely fabulous twist bangle with an 18ct gold and diamond head meeting its amethyst counterpart. Beautifully made with over 0.20ct of round brilliant cut diamonds and a beautiful 18ct gold alloy in a pleat and twist design. Take a closer look and this is actually a cocktail watch. The face of which is revealed by gently lifting the gold edge. A discreet yet effective way to signal your intent, one might think. Especially if the potential suitor is punching above their weight! Speaking of which, the precious materials in this piece are impressive at almost 40 grams. The bangle itself can fit a 17cm wrist comfortably and can be worn loose. The leather shows some wear but could be replaced. We'd stick with the purple though... it really brings out the amethyst!
