18ct Tanzanite & Diamond Cluster Ring
A striking Violet Tanzanite and Diamond Cluster!
One of the things that we most love about Tanzanite's is their unique colour and this stone is exceptionally lovely. The contrast with the sparkly white Brilliant Cut Diamond surround is magical and the Diamond set detail adds that extra touch of glamour.
Tanzanite is known as the generational gemstone, not discovered until 1967 and so often found in particularly modern settings. However, this ring is much more traditional than what you would expect and the Diamond set shoulders add a somewhat art deco expression to the ring.
The undercarriage of the ring resembles a flower in blossom, it's lovely and unique and a shame that there is not a way to showcase it on the hand.
The oval Tanzanite measures 9.5mm by 7.5mm and weighs well in excess of 2ct. It is claw set in 18ct white gold.
The Diamond surround consists of 12 Diamonds and the shank has three wonderfully uniform Round Brilliant Cuts either side. The Diamond weight is an estimated 1.25ct.
The Yellow Gold shank is 2mm and the ring tests as 18ct Gold although it is not stamped. Currently size O and can be sized to suit.
