A particularly beautiful and substantial 18ct Yellow Gold Religious Devotional Medal, depicting Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary which is presented on a fine 17-inch 18ct Gold Curb Chain.
The circular medal is wonderfully detailed and double-sided. One side features a striking portrait of Jesus Christ wearing the Crown of Thorns, his face rendered in raised relief with remarkable definition and expression. Turn the medal over and it reveals a serene portrait of the Virgin Mary, traditionally veiled, creating a piece that brings together two of the most important figures in Christian devotion. There is something especially lovely about the simplicity of this medal.
