A fabulous vintage 9ct Yellow Gold Figaro and Rollerball Chain, combining two classic link styles to create a beautifully substantial and wonderfully distinctive piece.
The design alternates elongated Figaro links with groups of smooth, rounded rollerball-style links, giving the chain fantastic texture and a much more interesting appearance than a traditional Figaro chain.
At 28.4 grams, this is a seriously lovely weight of gold, with a generous 5.5mm width and an extremely wearable 18-inch length. The combination of the elongated links and chunky rounded rollerball sections gives it a gorgeous rhythm around the neckline, catching the light beautifully from every angle.
One of our favourite details is the traditional gold swivel clasp. Originally associated with Albert chains and watch chains, antique-style swivels have become incredibly desirable on vintage gold necklaces, adding character and giving the chain that distinctive old-gold look that modern pieces so often lack.
The rich yellow gold has a gorgeous warm tone, while the smooth, rounded links catch the light beautifully without being overly polished or flashy. With its combination of 28.4g weight, 5.5mm width and 18-inch length, it feels substantial and luxurious whilst remaining incredibly easy to wear.
