15ct Antique Sapphire & Seed pearl Ring from 1896! (Higher Resolution Photos)

A really lovely Victorian Sapphire and Seed Pearl Ring crafted from 15ct Gold.
The lustrous Seed Pearls surround the pale blue sapphire which create a charming and classic design.
The ring was hallmarked in Chester in 1896 by W G M for W G Matthews who had premises on Hockley Street in Birmingham. They were known as Walter George Matthews and Walter Ernest Matthews and were a Father and Son Partnership.
Due to its age and wear, the shank has been left with a slight kink but the ring is still comfortable to wear. We did not want to repair this ring as the hallmark might have been damaged.
It weighs 3.1 grams and is a Size O. Unfortunately, it cannot be sized due to the hallmark's placement in the centre of the shank.
