Wowsers! Just in and still doing the research but this ring is a show stopper! Dating to either the late Georgian or early Victorian period with a locket to the back of the head this ring is a rare and wonderful find.
Crafted in 13.5 grams of 18ct with a rose cut diamond set floral applique in the centre and fabulously bright and vibrant cornflower blue enamel this ring is captivating. The flower is crafted from silver and the eight rose cut diamonds meticulously positioned. The outer surround comprises thirty old mine cut diamonds with a total carat weight in excess of 1.15ct.
The shank is split with fabulous detailing and although we would not recommend using it regularly the locket is still fully operational.
From the inside of the locket there is an unintentional 'A' initial whereby the floral applique was set - might be an extra special something for an extra special 'A' in your life.
This fabulous ring is size M 1/2 but can be altered very slightly to fit.
