Delighted to present this Victorian Star seed pearl pendant/brooch! Originally hallmarked in Sheffield in either 1884/1885 (date letter K) it really is in wonderful condition given its age.
Typical of the Victorian Star this example shows graduated seed pearls tapering outwards. All pearls are intact. There is a makers mark for DHJ but unfortunately we cannot find any further information.
The pendant weighs 5.3grams and measures 30mm by 30mm and can also be worn as a brooch. Two pieces of jewellery in one!The featured chain is 20 inches ling in 9ct gold but can be altered to suit.
To purchase as a brooch please select from the brooch section on the site and you will see this piece available without a chain, with a price that reflects the difference!
A most gorgeous and versatile addition to the collection!
